Music-making workshops at St. Martin's Hospital, Canterbury

We ran a 12 week project, delivering half day music making workshops for patients at St. Martins Hospital, Canterbury. Musicians supported people with a range of abilities and skills with the aim to reduce stress and anxiety and improve wellbeing of participants.

We worked closely with St. Martins staff and their ‘Moving On’ group (for patients who are about to be discharged) which allowed our staff to refer patients to similar music projects and opportunities in the community. We also offered mentoring in workshop delivery and voluntary opportunities.

This project was delivered Oliver Seager, Yiannis Zaronis and Lucky Moyo.

This project was funded by Canterbury City Councils Innovation Funding.
