Music-making workshops at St. Martin's Hospital, Canterbury

We will be a running a 12 week project, delivering half day music making workshops for patients at St. Martins Hospital, Canterbury. Musicians will support people with a range of abilities and skills with the aim to reduce stress and anxiety and improve wellbeing of participants.

We will be working closely with St. Martins staff and their ‘Moving On’ group (for patients who are about to be discharged) which will allow our staff to refer patients to similar music projects and opportunities in the community. We will also be offering mentoring in workshop delivery and voluntary opportunities.

This project is being delivered by Oliver Seager, Yiannis Zaronis and Lucky Moyo.

This project is funded by Canterbury City Councils Innovation Funding.
