Téa (from Sarajevo, Bosnia) is a singer, guitarist and songwriter, as well as a committed educator. She trained in classical guitar and opera, and has been performing with her sister Mirela since the early 1980s.
Since coming to the UK in 1989 she has continued to perform with Mirela, and has appeared alongside artists such as Youssou N'Dour and Martin Carthy. She is a member of The Téa Hodzic Trio, and Balkan group Szapora (previously the Budapest Café Orchestra).
