Biography

Dan studied English and French literature at Oxford where he was one of the winners of the OUDS New Writing Festival. He went on to the Creative Writing Masters programme at UEA. Since leaving university he has had several educational books published 'Posters and Propaganda' (Franklin Watts, 2007). He has been writing songs since he could string letters together and in 2008 penned the first song about bank charges to get in the UK Top 40 charts – 'I fought the Lloyds'. He also edited the music video which appeared on Newsnight, GMTV and Sky News. Dan is a highly sought-after private tutor and speaker in the fields of literacy and memory techniques and a skilled musician. He has also accepted professional commissions for his work in video editing.
