Kevin Davidson is a teacher, musician and workshop leader with a broad base of experience in music, literacy and movement. Kevin first started working with children at the age of 15 when he trained as a gymnastics coach, running gym classes and gymnastic birthday parties for young people.
After graduating from Oxford University where he read law, Kevin co-founded Oxford Elite English Camps, a business set up to organise and run English tuition summer camps in China for up to 450 students aged 4 – 16.
Back in the UK he began a songwriting project with Daniel James where participants are assisted in writing and recording a song in just one day, which has built up a strong legacy since 2007. With both live and studio credits at professional level, Kevin plays the guitar, piano, drum kit, vocals and percussion, as well as being a proficient studio engineer.
In addition to running Song in a Day, he teaches physical education at Greenwich Steiner School and offers private coaching through 11+ and 13+ exams.
