In 2014 Music for Change delivered a diverse programme of high quality music events in Kent.
Our summer event in Canterbury saw performances from excellent groups including She'Koyokh, the Kalakuta Millionaires and the Jaipur Kawa Brass Band (the latter on tour from India).
In the autumn, we were proud to present an amazing performance from duo Seckou Keita (world-renowned kora player) and Welsh harpist, Catrin Finch at the Gulbenkian Theatre in Canterbury. Other bands, including world-jazz sextet, Glasshouse, played at The Ballroom venue in Canterbury.
Our events programme was funded by Grants for the Arts with additional support from Canterbury Arts Council and Superact.
